VAULT Founding Members Ruger and H&K Go Live with Product Data

Two of VAULT’s original Founders Group manufacturers now feeding live, standardized product data into the platform, marking a key milestone for industry-wide adoption.

Sioux Falls, SD — (Aug 20, 2026) — VAULT, the centralized product data platform developed by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW), today announced that Sturm, Ruger & Co. and Heckler & Koch (H&K), two of the platform’s founding manufacturer partners, now have live product data feeding into the system. Distributors and retailers connected to VAULT can access accurate, standardized data from both manufacturers today.

VAULT gives manufacturers a single platform to upload product content, images, specifications, and compliance data, then distribute it across the entire supply chain from one source. Distributors and retailers pull that data directly into their own systems, eliminating duplicate data entry, reducing order errors, and keeping product information accurate and current across every channel.

“Ruger and H&K going live in VAULT is a great milestone for our industry,” said Kenyon Gleason, President of NASGW. “Every manufacturer that comes online saves the entire industry time and money by eliminating repetitive, manual data work. It also means distributors and retailers are working from more accurate product data, and accurate data drives better conversion and more sales. This is exactly the kind of progress VAULT was built to deliver.”

“This is a major effort by NASGW, and it solves a real problem for the industry,” said Todd Seyfert, President and CEO of Ruger. “Manufacturers spend an enormous amount of time distributing product information in multiple formats. VAULT standardizes that process and makes accurate data available whenever it’s needed. That’s a big win for distributors and retailers, and Ruger is proud to be a strong supporter of this initiative.”

“We are thrilled to be involved at such a high level with the rollout of this much-needed platform,” said Nathan Schueth, Director of Sales & Business Development for H&K. “The shooting sports industry has struggled with fragmented product data and inconsistent formats. VAULT addresses that challenge by standardizing how information is shared and accessed. This improves accuracy, reduces friction, and delivers real benefits to distributors and retailers.”

Ruger and H&K join VAULT’s Founders Group alongside The Kinetic Group, Dead Air Silencers, Otis Technologies, and Winchester Ammunition. With two founding manufacturers now live, VAULT moves closer to its goal of a single, standardized source of product data for the entire shooting sports industry. NASGW continues to onboard additional manufacturer partners and encourages distributors and retailers to ask their manufacturer partners to join VAULT.
