Firminator G3
The Firminator G3 remains the best and most versatile piece of equipment in the industry, allowing the entire process of planting a food plot – plowing, planting, and packing the soil – with one implement. The angle and pitch of its heavy, 18-inch, notched 9-gauge steel disks are easily adjusted for working soil in a variety of situations, including the first cut into heavy sod, lightly opening thatch and soil for over-seeding without disturbing existing forages or “no-till” seeding. The innovative ground-driven Accurate Seeding System allows for simultaneously planting a range of seed sizes, meters out seed relative to speed, and prevents seed from falling when the Firminator stops rolling to eliminate waste. Meanwhile, the integrated cultipacker rolls on the soil with additional frame weight to enhance seed-to-soil contact for improved germination rates.
Firminator G3 ATV
The G3 ATV model offers a down-sized version for smaller jobs working in less accessible areas or those lacking larger tractors. Built on a frame of rugged 3-inch steel square tubing, it features six (6) 16-inch ground turning disks and the same ground-driven Accurate Seeding System. At 860 pounds, it is light enough to be pulled by a minimum of 550cc ATV or UTV, yet heavy enough to break up and dig into hard ground other ATV harrows would bounce across. Adjustment allows for more or less weight on the disk assembly for deeper or shallower cutting depths while allowing the cultipacker to maintain good ground contact and break apart clods while leveling and firming the soil.
Firminator RT
For situations where tilling is preferable to discing, there is even a Firminator. The Firminator RT unit offers the same rugged, American-made quality construction, materials, and features as other models, but instead of disks, it has a rugged, PTO-driven rototiller. It is available in 4-, 6-, and 8-foot models to accommodate an array of hauling machinery.
Stand-Alone Cultipacker
Ranew’s heavy-duty Stand-Alone Cultipacker is offered in a standard 6-foot model featuring 9-inch heavy-duty cast iron cultipacker wheels, high-speed greaseable bearings, and category 1 and 2 hitch pins. There is also a professional model with upgraded 16-inch cast-iron cultipacker wheels to create the best seed-to-soil contact possible. Both models are built with the same heavy 3-inch square tubing as the Firminator frames and come in 6, 8, and 10-foot widths.
