This Is What an MP5 Would Look Like in 2026

The video reviews Springfield Armory’s Kuna Tri-Lug, a modern roller-delayed 9mm pistol-caliber platform framed as a contemporary interpretation of the MP5 concept. The reviewer praises its adaptive grip texture, smooth trigger, compact charging handle, quality iron sights, and exceptionally soft recoil, especially when suppressed. The integrated tri-lug mount is presented as the key improvement, allowing compatible suppressors to attach and detach quickly without tools. The main criticism is that the brace-equipped configuration looks ready for a stock, which the reviewer says is forthcoming; overall, the Kuna is judged highly satisfying and nearly ideal.
