Evolution Outdoor Announces Partnership with Bass Fishing Hall of Fame Angler Bill Dance

KILGORE, Texas – March 12, 2026 – Evolution Outdoor, a leading provider of high-quality fishing gear, proudly announces its partnership with legendary bass fishing pro Bill Dance. As one of the most recognizable and influential figures in the sport’s history, Dance represents a legacy of excellence, education and innovation. Evolution Outdoor looks forward to working with Dance to further its commitment to quality and performance.

With his standout tournament career, Dance is widely regarded as one of the greatest competitors in bass fishing history. He made his mark catching the first bass in B.A.S.S. history at the 1967 All-American Tournament. Throughout his career, Dance won seven of the first 17 Bassmaster events he entered and earned three B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year titles. During his nine seasons of the B.A.S.S. circuit, he qualified for the Bassmaster Classic eight times, a testament to his consistency and talent.

In 1968, Dance expanded his impact far beyond tournament competition by launching Bill Dance Outdoors, a television series that has aired more than 2,000 episodes. Through the program, he has educated and inspired generations of anglers by sharing his expertise, ranging from bass behavior and seasonal patterns to rod and reel selection. Bill Dance Outdoors remains the longest-running fishing show in America, and his talent for relaying his knowledge to the audience has had a lasting impact on the fishing world.

“The Evolution Outdoor team is honored to partner with and work alongside Bill Dance,” said Evolution Outdoor’s VP of Marketing Colt Fadal. “His influence in the industry is unmatched through both his tournament success and the generations of anglers he has educated. Bill’s passion for the sport and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our mission to continuously advance our products and better serve anglers.”

Dance’s contributions to the sport have earned him induction into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, National Freshwater Hall of Fame, the IFGA Hall of Fame and the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. Through this partnership, Evolution Outdoor is honored to align with a pioneer whose legacy continues to inspire anglers.
