(HOUSTON, TX – September 29, 2026) The Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is pleased to announce that entrepreneur, outdoor enthusiast, and storyteller Brad Luttrell will be featured on an upcoming episode of the HSCF Hunting Matters podcast.
Luttrell brings a unique perspective to the conversation, combining years of experience as an entrepreneur and outdoor industry innovator with a lifelong passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He previously built and led GoWild, an outdoor-focused social media platform that connected hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Following his departure from GoWild in 2024, Luttrell entered a new chapter focused on strategic storytelling through his company, Prologue.
During the Hunting Matters conversation, Luttrell will discuss his journey building an outdoor technology company, the lessons he took from his years with GoWild, and what he has learned about the importance of authentic storytelling in the outdoor industry.
The conversation will also explore Luttrell’s experiences as a hunter and angler. One particularly unique aspect of his hunting story is his success hunting a 30-acre tree farm located in the heart of a city, demonstrating that hunting opportunities can exist in unexpected places.
Luttrell will share the story behind his suburban hunting experience, including the challenges and opportunities of hunting a small property surrounded by an urban environment. The discussion will examine how hunters can identify opportunities closer to home while maintaining responsible relationships with landowners, neighbors, and surrounding communities.
Another major topic will be Luttrell’s growing passion for surf fishing. Although experienced in the outdoors, Luttrell approaches surf fishing as a continuing learning experience, offering an interesting perspective on what it means to become a beginner again and develop new skills in the outdoors.
As a husband and father who enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking, running, hiking and coaching, Luttrell will also discuss balancing entrepreneurship and an active outdoor lifestyle with family and the importance of introducing the next generation to meaningful experiences outside.
The episode will also examine the role that storytelling, technology and social media can play in helping hunters communicate the connection between hunting, conservation, wildlife management, and outdoor heritage to broader audiences.
