Speer Ammunition announced that it was awarded a duty rifle ammunition contract with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The contract calls for Speer to supply the agency with Gold Dot Tipped ammunition in .308. CBP is one of the world’s largest law enforcement agencies and is charged with border security while also overseeing lawful international trade and travel. The contract has a ceiling value of $7 million over five years.
