SLG2, Inc. Renews Partnership with NSSF to Advance +One Mentorship Initiative

ATHENS, Ala. – May 13, 2026 – SLG2, Inc., a leader in experiential marketing and firearms safety education, is proud to renew its longstanding partnership with the NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, to support the organization’s +ONE® mentorship initiative.

This continued collaboration reflects a shared commitment to growing participation in the shooting sports and hunting communities through education, mentorship, and responsible engagement. Through the +ONE Movement, SLG2, Inc. will continue to encourage experienced participants to introduce newcomers to the outdoors, helping support long-term industry growth.

As one of the first companies to adopt the mentorship initiative, SLG2, Inc. will deliver +ONE messaging and resources across its nationwide event platforms, including the Grand Safety Tour and mentorship-focused experiences. These efforts will highlight peer-to-peer mentorship while providing hands-on opportunities to safely explore shooting sports.

“Our priority with +ONE is community access to training and educational resources related to shooting sports, hunting, and firearm safety. SLG2 and its instructors contribute to this effort through their trailer and training events across the U.S.,” said Justin Morrissey, NSSF Director, Social Media. “We’re grateful to have them as a +ONE Partner and are proud to support their instructors, help increase their event awareness, and learn together how to better serve communities through our cooperative efforts.”

The +ONE initiative encourages existing and future coaches, teachers, instructors, mentors, and community leaders to “aim to inspire” by inviting others to the range or afield to learn about firearm safety, shooting sports or hunting. The initiative maintains a nationwide network of partners and community leaders.

“We are excited to extend our partnership with NSSF in support of the +ONE initiative,” said Karen Butler, founder and president of SLG2, Inc. “Mentorship plays a critical role in building confidence and creating positive first experiences. We are proud to help amplify this important movement.”

Since 2009, SLG2, Inc. has welcomed over 50,000 guests through its immersive experiences, introducing new audiences to shooting sports in a safe and educational environment. By repeating +ONE into its programming, SLG2, Inc. will further strengthen its mission of empowering individuals to participate with confidence.

Together, SLG2, Inc. and the National Shooting Sports Foundation will continue to grow the next generation of outdoor and shooting sports participants through mentorship and community engagement.
