Shoot Like A Girl to Visit Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, Texas for the 2026 Grand Safety Tour

ATHENS, Ala. – April 27, 2026 – SLG2, Inc., the outdoor industry’s leading experiential marketing company, will bring its Shoot Like A Girl experience to Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, Texas, on May 2–3 as part of its 2026 Grand Safety Tour.

Led by a team of all-women instructors, this one-of-a-kind event offers a free, interactive setting designed to introduce women, families, and outdoor enthusiasts to the shooting sports. Featuring hands-on product demonstrations in partnership with dozens of the outdoor industry’s leading brands, the event emphasizes safety, responsibility, and confidence for guests of all experience levels.

“We’re excited to bring the Shoot Like A Girl experience back to the Grapevine community,” said Karen Butler, president of SLG2, Inc. “Texas has a deep-rooted outdoor heritage, and we’re proud to offer a welcoming space where guests can gain confidence, learn at their own pace, and discover which products and outdoor activities best suit their interests.”

The main attraction of the event is Shoot Like A Girl’s semi-tractor trailer mobile range, which offers participants aged 18 and older an instructor-led opportunity to safely handle firearms and experience shooting using a FATS by Inveris military-grade simulator that provides realistic feedback.

In addition to firearms education, the experience includes an introduction to archery led by certified coaches. Youth and teens are encouraged to attend and participate in firearm and archery safety discussions, creating an engaging and educational environment for the entire family.

Outside the range, attendees can explore the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar, which features a variety of firearms and product demonstrations from some of the industry’s leading manufacturers. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about firearms, optics, holsters, concealed carry handbags, pepper spray, and other outdoor accessories in a safe and supportive environment.

Women, men, and families of all experience levels are welcome, and no prior knowledge is required to participate. This event is free to attend, and all equipment will be provided on-site.
