Registration Remains Open for the 70th Annual AGLOW Conference

Lincoln, Neb.(Aug. 26, 2026) —Registration remains open for the 70th annual Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers (AGLOW) Conference in Niagara, New York, October 11 through 15, 2026. The conference will be held at the Niagara Crossing hotel.

Major sponsors for the 2026 AGLOW Conference in Niagara include Whitetails Unlimited, Safari Club International, Delta Defense, Spypoint, Vosker, OnX Fishing, OnX Hunt, Pulsar, NSSF, American Sportfishing Association, and others being added weekly.

Located in picturesque upstate New York, Niagara is a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts. At the conference, AGLOW members will have the chance to try their hand at fishing on the Niagara River and Lake Ontario, as well as a bit of pheasant hunting at the legendary 3F club. Outdoor excursions are planned as part of the conference and can be added to the front and back ends to ensure content creators have plenty of stories from their time in Niagara and western New York.

During the conference, you’ll start with a President’s Reception on Sunday evening. Sunday night will kick off an amazing week in Niagara as AGLOW celebrates its 70th anniversary.

On Monday, media members will have the opportunity to visit with corporate members and destinations, including a round of speed dating to meet everyone in the room and exchange contact information. New members will be welcomed and receive an orientation, and we will enjoy our breakout trade show, which gives everyone a chance to network and explore products and destinations. Visit Niagara will kick off with an amazing dinner, and our keynote this year will be Glenn Hughes from the American Sportfishing Association.

On Tuesday, all members, regardless of angling ability, are encouraged to join the 4th annual AGLOW Fishing Tournament, sponsored by Fish Donkey, St. Croix Rods, and Seviin Reels. Niagara offers world-class fall fishing, and a variety of fish species are eligible. Everyone can get in on the action for fun catches. Prizes are randomly drawn, so you won’t want to miss out on the fun.

Tuesday evening will feature the annual AGLOW Golden Glow Awards Reception, honoring the outstanding achievements of individual members and organizations.

Tuesday and Wednesday will feature seminars and panel discussions on editing, craft improvement, artificial intelligence, and the state of the industry. On Wednesday night, AGLOW will host its annual auction, with proceeds benefiting AGLOW Play Grants, which provide opportunities for youth in the outdoors.

On the final evening, AGLOW members will come together for the annual Awards-in-Craft ceremony, where members are recognized for excellence across a variety of media. Celebrate excellence, cheer for your friends, and admire the work and the creators who continue to share the outdoors with the rest of the world.

Outdoors media content creators, outdoor destination conventions and visitors bureaus, and outdoor product companies are encouraged to join your tribe of fun-loving, welcoming outdoor enthusiasts at the AGLOW Conference.
