Celebrate Public Lands Month with the Mule Deer Foundation and Infinite Outdoors

CLEARFIELD, Utah – August 31, 2026 – This September, the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) and Infinite Outdoors are celebrating Public Lands Month through Access. Adventure. Legacy., a campaign focused on expanding outdoor access, creating new opportunities for adventure, and investing in the future of America’s outdoor heritage.

Throughout September, anyone who purchases a new Mule Deer Foundation membership will receive a FREE one-year Infinite Outdoors Access+ membership, a $59.99 value, and automatic entry to win an incredible outdoor prize package. Current Mule Deer Foundation members can also participate by making a tax-deductible donation of $35 or more during the campaign. Eligible donors will receive a complimentary one-year Access+ membership and be entered into the prize drawing.

Public lands provide opportunities to hunt, fish, hike, camp, and explore while supporting wildlife and outdoor traditions. Through this partnership, MDF and Infinite Outdoors are working to connect more people with the outdoors while supporting conservation
and access for future generations. Public lands belong to all of us,” said Greg Sheehan, President and CEO of the Mule Deer Foundation. “We’re excited to partner with Infinite Outdoors to give our supporters more opportunities to experience the outdoors while investing in conservation, expanding access, and protecting these landscapes for future generations.

The partnership brings together two organizations committed to conservation and outdoor access. MDF works to conserve mule deer, black-tailed deer, and their habitat, while Infinite Outdoors connects outdoor enthusiasts with public and private land opportunities and supports responsible recreation and conservation. Through Infinite Outdoors’ Access Granted initiative, the organization works with private landowners to help create free access routes to landlocked and difficult-to-reach public lands, opening new opportunities for people to hunt, fish, hike, and explore.

“Conservation is strongest when people have a meaningful connection to the land.” Said Sam Seeton, CEO of Infinite Outdoors. “Together, with the Mule Deer Foundation, we’re creating more opportunities for people to experience these places while protecting them for generations to come.” This partnership reflects a shared belief that expanding access and investing in conservation go hand in hand.

Every Mule Deer Foundation membership supports conservation efforts for mule deer, black-tailed deer, and their habitat. A portion of every Infinite Outdoors Access+ membership also supports efforts to expand access opportunities across the country.

The Access. Adventure. Legacy. campaign runs throughout September. Whether joining MDF or making a donation as a current member, participants are helping support conservation, expand outdoor access, and invest in the future of America’s outdoor heritage.
