SHOT 2025 Roundup: New Suppressors

In the vast ocean of innovation at SHOT Show 2025, one category generated a tidal wave of excitement: New suppressors.

These precision devices drew crowds like bait to hungry fish. As I navigated the busy aisles, I let the energy of the show guide my search for standout products. My strategy? Watch for the most captivated conversations in the bustling silencer booths.

SilencerCo S98 Suppressor

A lightweight 7-ounce premium suppressor, the S98 boasts amazing sound performance with its full-welded, 17-4 SS and Grade 5 titanium body. The eccentric design keeps the sights unobstructed to ensure shot accuracy. Marketed for home defense, tactical shooting and target shooting enthusiasts, the SilencerCo S98 features an easy indexing button for correct orientation in any situation.

Easily the shortest and lightest with its polygonal design, the S98 is 5.54 inches long with a diameter of 1.25 x 1.625 inches and is designed for 9mm handguns.

MSRP $879

Silencer Central Banish 9K

The Silencer Central Banish 9K is touted as a technical masterpiece and weighs in at only 2.7 ounces. Full-auto rated for 9mm and 300 BLK subsonic only, the 9K is made of 3D printed titanium and the compact size makes it easier to carry. The Banish 9K manages to bring sound levels down on average 9mm rounds to 132 decibels at the ear. For subsonic rounds, it is rated for full-auto fire.

The Banish 9K is manufactured in both 1/2×28 or M13x5x1LH metric threads and doesn’t require a piston to facilitate quick thread and go use.

MSRP $699

B&T Print-XH RBS 556 Ti

Advanced flash suppression, especially in high-volume shooting situations, adds to the value of this suppressor. The Reduced Backpressure System (RBS) combined with a low-flash endcap the Print-XH answers the call for the challenges of gas blowback. Weighing in at 14 ounces, the suppressor measures 8 inches long.

HUB interface options (1.375×24 TPI) with wrench flats make installation simple and the enhancements create minimal sparking and flash.
