Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Selects Night Fision Sights

The Oneida County (WI) Sheriff’s Office has selected Night Fision’s Optics Ready Stealth Series Sights for Glock as its iron sights of choice. The department, headquartered in Rhinelander, WI, has roughly 350 employees to protect and serve residents who live in the county’s 1,236-square miles.

Chosen for the lower-1/3 co-witness when paired with the optic of choice, the Night Fision Optics Ready Stealth Sights for Glock product line offers different blade heights to ensure compatibility with a variety of optics. The height chosen by this agency is the 290-313 blade height, which pairs with the department’s optics of record.

Beyond their purpose-driven height options, Optics Ready Stealth (ORS) sights offer several popular variations from which to select: yellow-, orange- and black-ring front sights can be combined with black-ring rear sights. Regardless of the combination, all variants feature narrow front blades that obscure less threat, and serrated faces to minimize glare from sun or handheld lights.

Like all Night Fision sights, the Optics Ready Stealth Series sights feature tritium vials that carry domed lenses optically engineered for superior visibility. The patented dome lens collimates the emitted glow from a vial packed with more tritium than most standard night sights on the market for a crisp green dot in dark conditions. Sight rings are made of ballistic polymer guaranteed to not chip, crack, fade or peel under even the most adverse conditions. Night Fision night sights are CNC machined out of high-quality steel and lenses are constructed from the same materials used in bulletproof glass. The attention to detail ensures their sights deliver the performance professionals need and civilian enthusiasts deserve.

Oneida County Sheriff’s Office joins a growing group of agencies that have selected Night Fision products as the iron sights of choice, including divisions of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Marshals Service. Night Fision provides premium tritium solutions to many other Law Enforcement departments across the country.

Night Fision is based in Detroit, MI. Its sister company, Cammenga, is the official manufacturer of the U.S. Army’s Tritium Lensatic Compass and provides them to militaries across the globe.
