First Look: Wilson Combat Silent Bandit Suppressor

Wilson Combat has just launched the new Silent Bandit suppressor. Named after Bill Wilson’s loyal dog Bandit, this suppressor series is fully constructed from titanium and is available in two different configurations: A five-baffle unit that measures 5.76 inches long and a six-baffle model that’s 6.41 inches long. The suppressor is available for a common range of calibers including .223 (5.56mm), .270 (6.8mm), .30 (7.62mm) and .358 (9mm). These new suppressors were designed to be suitable for a range of shooting applications including hunting, plinking, competition, self-defense as well as precision shooting and tactical use.

Regardless of length, the core of the new Wilson Combat Silent Bandit suppressors is a titanium baffle stack, while the external housing is also constructed from titanium. Externally, these suppressors are finished with Wilson Combat’s signature Armor-Tuff finish. The shorter Wilson Combat Silent Bandit model weighs 12.1 ounces while the longer one comes in at 13.3 ounces.

Wilson Combat Silent Bandit suppressors use a modern HUB mount to mate to the host firearm. Along with the end-cap, the HUB mount is machined from robust H13 steel and has a nitride black finish. The Silent Bandit’s HUB mount and end caps are designed to be easily attached or removed to provide access to the suppressor’s baffle stack for cleaning and maintenance. The Silent Bandit’s HUB mount is also compatible with the Quell mount, so a customer already has an existing Wilson Combat Quell K-Mount muzzle device, the Silent Bandit will seamlessly work with that firearm.

Retail pricing for the new Silent Bandit suppressor begins at $1,119. To learn more these suppressors or other shooting products and firearms offered by Wilson Combat, visit Wilson Combat’s website at wilsoncombat.com.
