Brugger & Thomet USA has just launched a next generation product line of modern 3-D metal printed silencers, the new Print-X series. This new series represents the successor to B&T’s already established Rotex suppressor line.

“The improvements made to our 3D printed Print-X SRBS and Rotex suppressors within the Print-X family are examples of how our customers and end-users continue to reap the benefits of our R&D team continually pushing what is possible in both material and design,” said Chris Mudgett, Vice President of Marketing for B&T USA. “As a suppressor manufacturer with nearly 700 different suppressors, it’s safe to say our engineering team refuses to leave well enough alone and our products are in a perpetual state of advancement to ensure our customers receive the most cutting-edge technology possible, providing them with a substantial advantage in the field.”

B&T Print-X SBRS supprressors are manufactured from either 718 Iconel, titanium or both depending on the specific model. They accommodate 5.56mm and 7.62mm firearms and use the industry standard HUB mounting system. These moderators are designed with a low-flash endcap and star pattern baffles to regulate the volume of gas as it makes its way through the device to reduce muzzle flash and needless blast. This scheme is also designed to reduce backpressure and makes up part of the name SBRS, which stands for “Slimline Reduced Back Pressure”. Externally, the new Print-X family has a signature bead-blasted grey finish with a unique texturing pattern. Each suppressor ships with B&T’s Rotex-SF HUB assembly, which is compatible with all B&T Rotex flash hiders, as well as all of SureFire’s SOCOM flash hiders and Warcomp compensators and muzzle brakes. The Rotex-SF HUB is machined from titanium bar stock. NATO-Spec A2 and direct-mount HUB assemblies are available as accessory items.
