Trump Threatens To Deploy ICE To Airports

United States ruler Donald Trump claims that since democrats are “blocking funding” for the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) personnel, he can have ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents fill in instead. He said he will make this happen if democrats refuse to unblock funding for the Department of Homeland Security, which governs both ICE and the TSA.

The partial shutdown that began in February has left thousands of TSA employees without pay, resulting in lengthy security lines at airports across the country. Both TSA and ICE are parts of DHS; however, the latter agency received $75 billion from Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” that was passed and signed into law last year. -RT

In a post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, Trump wrote that “if the Radical Left Democrats don’t immediately sign an agreement to let our Country, in particular, our Airports, be FREE and SAFE again, I will move our brilliant and patriotic ICE Agents to the Airports where they will do Security like no one has ever seen before, including the immediate arrest of all Illegal Immigrants who have come into our Country.”

Free? Not very many people associate being fondled at airports and obeying rules with authoritarianism, not freedom. But for those paying attention, Trump was never about freedom. His goal has been to expand the American empire, and if he can’t control those within the borders of the U.S., he’s going to have a difficult time controlling those outside of the borders of the U.S.

On Sunday, NBC News, citing DHS estimates, reported that more than 400 TSA agents have quit since February 14th, when the partial shutdown started. One day earlier, Senate Republicans voted down the Democrats’ bill to fund TSA separately, while leaving DHS without cash. Democrats have for months demanded that new checks on ICE agents be introduced, such as a requirement to wear identification and a ban on facemasks.

The Shah of Iran bought 79 F-14 Tomcats from the United States in 1976, three years before the revolution; after 2006 they were the last of the type still flying, the Pentagon shredded its own so parts could not reach Tehran, and this March Israel said it had destroyed the remainder on the ground at Isfahan

Lockheed Martin, the company behind the F-35 and F-22, lost the Air Force’s sixth-generation jet to Boeing and is now pitching a new F-16 — a fourth-generation fighter the service stopped buying 20 years ago — because it needs 460 more jets by 2035 and cannot stand up new stealth lines fast enough
