Suspect Kills 3 Family Members, Carjacks Drivers At Gunpoint, Is Currently Barricaded Inside Home

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA — On Saturday morning in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, a tragic incident unfolded when Andre Gordon Jr., 26, allegedly murdered three individuals in two separate locations before barricading himself in a Trenton home. The rampage began around 9 a.m. at Viewpoint Lane, where Gordon Jr. is accused of breaking into a residence, shooting his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, to death, and then escaping in a stolen car. Despite other family members being present, they managed to avoid harm.

Gordon Jr. then proceeded to another home on Edgewood Lane, where he killed 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, the mother of his two children, in a similar invasion. One other person was injured in this attack. Shortly thereafter, Gordon Jr. allegedly carjacked another individual at a Dollar General store, fleeing in the stolen vehicle, which was later found in Trenton.

Authorities, including SWAT teams, converged on a Trenton residence where Gordon Jr. was believed to have taken hostages, though they were later found safe. Efforts to negotiate his surrender were ongoing as of midafternoon, with no clear motive for the attacks provided. Gordon Jr., currently homeless with ties to the Trenton area, was known to all his victims. The incident prompted a temporary shelter-in-place order in Falls Township, affecting local events and businesses.

This is a developing story.
