According to the Alliance Police Department, the incident occurred at around 2:24 a.m. when the homeowner called the authorities to report the shooting. The intruder was identified as Jerome Robb, a man with a known history of burglary.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found evidence that corroborated the homeowner’s account of the events. The details provided indicated that the homeowner acted in self-defense, confronting Robb as he attempted to break into the house.

While the case will be reviewed by the District Attorney’s Office, the Alliance Police Department has announced that no charges have been recommended against the homeowner.
