Six years ago I was reviewing the Working Poney AKA the Roadie. Mine was reprofiled by Jan Dirk and it is a great performer on a very tiny scale.
For 6 years it has been a stowaway following me in the UK, in Vietnam and in many places where knives were frown upon.Then, in 2024, I have noticed the coming of a XL version with a better steel and a clip. I immediately noticed a new pointy blade when the Roadie was a sheepfoot blade and another steel much more exciting !
The Roadie and its varients are probably my favorite of the Spyderco slipjoints.
