Available summer 2026, TUO’s Folcrum Hoodie bridges the gap between field-ready utility and a refined everyday profile

MUSKEGON, MI (April 13, 2026) – Occasionally, you come across that jacket, shirt, or maybe ballcap that becomes your signature. You sport it religiously, it fits like none other, and the article of clothing eventually becomes your own personal brand. Sadly, they chastise you for having only one thing in your closet. Just jealous, aren’t they, because they don’t have a trademark look? Such minions…

Well, once you pull the new Folcrum Hoodie over your head, your friends and family might hate that TUO exists. Because, dude, you’ll be wearing this in the forest, to church, and sleeping in it as well.

The mother-of-all utility tops, the Folcrum Hoodie fits and functions as awesome as it looks. “It really is the Swiss army knife of hoodies,” said TUO Marketing Director, Steve Allie. “With its warm grid-fleece lining, the Folcrum Hoodie can be worn standalone on moderate days when there’s still a little bite in the morning, maybe with a light merino baselayer underneath. It’s equally relevant as a midlayer in clothing combinations for colder situations.”

Folcrum’s elite body composition is a 249g, 93% polyester/7% spandex check fleece material. At 249g, it stands at the outer edge of being considered lightweight, just entering the realm of midweight by offering some warmth value – exactly why Allie considers it a jackknife.

Allie was also adamant about identifying the insides. “The grid-fleece lining is unique compared to most hoodies and TUO uses it for a couple of reasons. First, the geometric patterning helps capture heat. Second, the stitching keeps the material in place, which makes it easier to layer and extends the life of the hoodie.”

The fabric highlight reel doesn’t end there, as the Folcrum Hoodie features both Polygiene StayFresh™ and OdorCrunch™.

Polygiene StayFresh™ is a permanent, silver chloride based odor-control finish built into the fabric during manufacturing to keep the gear feeling fresh longer. It works by stopping bacteria from developing and multiplying in sweaty, warm, and moist fabric. Polygiene StayFresh isn’t a topical treatment, either – it’s there for the life of the garment.

OdorCrunch™ is a fabric odor-control technology that uses natural silica particles to capture and break down odor molecules so they can no longer produce smell. Molecules from sweat, smoke, cooking, etc. attach to modified silica particles and then a catalytic reaction “crunches” these molecules, breaking them down into simpler, non-odorous substances, so the bad smell is permanently removed rather than just masked.

Structure-wise, you’ll appreciate key elements like the hood, facemask, and pocket program. The Folcrum’s hood is devised with multiple fabric panels, which allowed TUO to sculpt it for fit and promote motion. The hood also boasts a svelte facemask that serves when asked and tucks neatly away when not in play. When in position, the facemask stays on the bridge of your nose, aided rubbery silicone.

The pocket duo includes a front pass-through kangaroo pouch and a zip chest pocket, which is ideally sized for your smartphone.

Folcrum Hoodie FEATURES:

  • Body: 93% polyester/7% spandex check fleece
  • Facemask: 88% polyester/12% spandex
  • Polygiene StayFresh™ helps reduce odor from bacteria and OdorCrunch™ captures and inhibits odors
  • Ergonomic 3-piece hood with a built-in facemask
  • Lycra-bound hood, sleeves, and facemask for comfort
  • 2 pockets (1 zip chest, 1 pass-through waist)
  • Interior Lycra thumbholes for optional use
