The Importance of the Firminator Accurate Seeding System

Milner, GA (April 17, 2025) – The Firminator’s all-in-one design affords users the time and money-saving efficiency of discing, seeding, and cultivating with a single food plot implement. Efficiency is further enhanced by the Firminator’s Accurate Seeding System, which allows users to sow seeds of any size, from larger corn, soybeans, peas, and sunflowers to the tiniest clovers, without seed waste or the need to change seed hoppers.

Conventional seeders often require changing hoppers or manual adjustment based on the seed size. This limits planting to a monoculture crop or requires multiple passes with different equipment when food plot prescriptions call for planting a mix or blend of different-size seeds, which they often do. Sowing blends with a broad range of seed sizes with a conventional seeder can also result in waste, as the machines must be set for the largest seeds, allowing smaller seeds to filter through and spill out, especially when stopping.

The Firminator’s Accurate Seeding System is ground-driven, so the seed is metered out relative to the speed of travel. This allows users to control the seeding rate. When the unit stops, an automatic shut-off prevents wasteful spills. There is even an optional seed hopper agitator that keeps seeds thoroughly mixed to prevent smaller seeds like clover from sifting through too quickly. As a result, it evenly spreads blends with extreme size differences in a single pass.

Furthermore, as the Firminator moves forward, seeds are dropped into a specially designed baffle that thoroughly distributes them in front of the cultipacker. The Firminator’s commercial-grade cultipacker then rolls over the seeds and compacts the soil, enhancing seed-to-soil contact for better germination rates and protection from wind deflection.

The end result is less waste and better germination and growth, maximizing the user’s investment in time, money, and effort. With its all-in-one design, Accurate Seeding System, and pro-grade cultipacker, the Firminator truly is the industry’s best and most versatile piece of equipment.

Product Features:

  • Handles seeds of all sizes
  • Generous-sized seed hopper
  • Seed metering openings
  • Seed size adjustments in 1/16-inch increments
  • Specially designed baffle for improved distribution
  • Distributes seeds directly in front of cultipacker for optimal seed-to-soil contact
  • Protects seeds from wind deflection
  • Only distributes seeds while Firminator is rolling to prevent waste
