Team Federal Lands Six Shooters on National Teams

ANOKA, Minnesota – September 9, 2026 – Four-time Olympic gold medalist and five-time World Champion Vincent Hancock leads a group of six Federal Ammunition sponsored athletes to earn a prestigious spot on the USA National team following the Fall Selection Match held by USA Shooting in Colorado Springs, CO.  The Fall match results, along with the results from the National Championships, are combined to determine the squads for both international skeet and trap for both men and women.  The Fall Selection match was held August 28 to September 7, 2026, at the USA Shooting Shotgun Range at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO.

Hancock, seeking a sixth Men’s Skeet World Championship, finished the Fall match in the Runner-up position, but with his performance at Nationals, he topped the National Team selection list.  Federal’s Conner Prince also qualified for the Men’s Skeet team.  Prince made the finals of the Fall selection match and sits third on the National Team ranking. Olympic gold medalist Amber English qualified for the Women’s Skeet national team with a strong performance at the Fall match that included a finals appearance.

In Men’s Trap, Derrick Mein and Brian Burrows earned coveted spots on the National Team with strong results at the Fall Selection Match.  Both are former Olympians with strong international experience and results.  Olympic silver medalist Kayle Browning finished the Fall Selection match in third place in Women’s Trap.  Combined with her performance at Nationals, she earned her spot on the team in the fourth position.

“Federal Ammunition congratulates all the team members on earning these coveted spots,” said Jason Nash, Vice President of Marketing at Federal.  “These sponsored athletes put a lot of time into practicing and competing and we are proud to supply them with the best ammunition as they pursue excellence while representing America.”

Team members will be representing the U.S. at the ISSF World Championships in Doha, the Championship of the Americas (CAT Games) in Lima, Peru and the ISSF World Cup in Acapulco, Mexico.
