DENVER (July 13, 2026) – Outdoor Channel welcomes back Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey for Season 8 of the popular, long-running program. Hosted by author, biologist, conservationist and prolific producer of outdoor TV, Chris Dorsey, the program is a cooperative effort between Sporting Classics magazine – the premium, 45-year-old, story driven publication that covers hunting, fishing and outdoor adventure – and Colorado-based Dorsey Pictures. Host Chris Dorsey travels the world in search of high-end hunting and fishing experiences and shares some of the planet’s most unforgettable locales while at the same time emphasizing the role that hunters and fishers play in conservation. Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey premieres Thursdays on Outdoor Channel at 6 & 10 p.m. ET.

Following are nine new episodes for this season:

  • “Colorado Elk” – It is an adventure of land, sea and air as Luke and Nate Dorsey pursue elk, trout and pheasant at Colorado’s amazing Elk Creek Ranch. (TV weeks of July 27 & September 28)
  • “Idaho Waterfowl” – It is a celebration of hunter-funded conservation as three outdoorsmen meet for waterfowl and upland birds at Sand Springs Ranch in Idaho. (TV week of August 3)
  • “South Carolina Quail” – Chris Dorsey and team visit a bucket-list destination for bird hunters for an epic quail hunt at South Carolina’s Almost Heaven Plantation. (TV week of August 10)
  • “Texas Quail & Nilgai” – Chris Dorsey visits the famous King Ranch – the largest ranch in the United States – for big game and quail. (TV week of August 17)
  • “Low Country Adventure” – Chris Dorsey, family and friends celebrate the best of the Low Country by chasing pheasants, redfish and hogs. (TV week of August 24)
