SLG2, Inc. Releases Second Quarter 2026 Report

Grand Safety Tour Surpasses 50,000 Signed-In Guests While Growing Participation in Shooting

ATHENS, Ala. – August 17, 2026 – SLG2, Inc., the parent company of Shoot Like A Girl, Safe LivinG, Hunt Like A Girl, and SLG2 Consulting, has released its Second Quarter 2026 Report, highlighting continuing impact from the nationwide 2026 Grand Safety Tour and a major company milestone more than 18 years in the making.

During the second quarter, Shoot Like A Girl welcomed 801 signed-in guests across five Bass Pro Shops destinations in Glendale, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Grapevine, Texas; Chesterfield, Michigan; and Niles, Ohio. An estimated 2,000 additional guests engaged with SLG2 instructors, partner products, and hands-on demonstrations surrounding the mobile range experience.

The quarter was highlighted by SLG2, Inc. surpassing its 50,000th signed-in guest since the company was founded in 2008. The milestone occurred during the Grand Safety Tour stop at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, Texas, where the team welcomed Brooklyn as guest number 50,000. Initially hesitant to shoot a firearm because of a negative childhood experience, she accepted the encouragement of SLG2 instructors to try again and left with an entirely different perspective.

The Q2 report demonstrates that experiences like hers continue to translate into measurable results. The impact for the outdoor industry is clear: 43% said their attitude or opinion toward firearms improved following their experience. Another 33% reported introducing someone else to the shooting sports after participating in an SLG2 event.

“Reaching 50,000 guests is an incredible milestone, but what makes that number meaningful are the individual stories behind it,” said Karen Butler, president and founder of SLG2, Inc. “Every guest arrives with a different level of experience, a different reason for participating, and sometimes even a little uncertainty. Our team and our partners meet them where they are, answer their questions, and create an experience that motivates them to take action in their own lives.”

Consumer purchase intent also remained strong during the quarter. Thirteen percent of surveyed guests reported purchasing one or more firearms following their SLG2 experience, while another 56% committed to purchasing a firearm either within the next six months or at some point in the future. Pistols represented 66% of those purchases and planned purchases, followed by rifles at 21% and shotguns at 13%.

Archery continued to introduce new participants to another segment of the shooting sports, with 48% of surveyed guests reporting they had never shot archery before entering the Shoot Like A Girl trailer. Following their experience, 42% indicated plans to purchase a bow.

The 2026 Grand Safety Tour continues throughout the remainder of the year with stops at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s locations, military installations, Bristol Motor Speedway, and additional special events across the country.
