SK Guns Supports Charitable Shooting Competitions Through SK Gives Back

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – April 15, 2025 – SK Gives Back, the philanthropic arm of SK Guns that supports local and national 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, is playing a crucial role in the execution of two shooting competitions to raise funds for programs that support shooting initiatives and law enforcement in the state of Florida.

SK Guns will be sponsoring the Shoot with the Sheriff event on Friday, April 25, 2025. This event raises funds for Bradford Sheriff Charitable Foundation, Inc. in support of the Bradford County Sheriff’s Department in Starke, Fla. SK Guns and SK Gives Back is donating one of its Alexander the Great Colt 1911s from the Conquerors Series to be raffled during the event.

Held at the Bradford Sportman Farm, the event begins at 10 am EDT and shooting will commence at noon EDT. Shooters can register for $150, which includes lunch, by calling (904) 966-6320. Teams are required to have a minimum of three shooters. Shooters can bring their own ammunition or purchase ammunition on site. All shooters are required to shoot with a 7.5 or 8 shot size shotshell.

“We are excited to support both of these events, and continue to use our SK Gives Back initiative to support organizations and events in our new home,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Guns. “Both of these competitions support amazing causes that give back to the sheriff’s departments and support the law enforcement in our area. We look forward to seeing the community come out and support these intitiatives.”

The following day – April 26, 2025 – SK Guns will be assisting the St. John’s County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #113 in holding the 3rd Annual St. Augustine Cup. In addition to being the title sponsor of the pistol competition, SK Guns is contributing a custom Alexander the Great Colt 1911, a Savage modified with Nighthawk Customs drop in parts, a Mossberg 702 Plinkster as well as other promotional expenses.

The 3rd Annual St. Augustine Cup will benefit the FOP Lodge #113 Heros Foundation, which supports active and former law enforcement. There is a $100 entry fee to participate in the competition, and those interested can register here. Companies interested in sponsoring the event should email Lynne Catoggio ([email protected]).
