SK Guns Commemorates America’s 250th Anniversary with Exclusive 1911 Commander .45 ACP

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – June 10, 2026 – In honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, SK Guns®, the Nation’s only series-driven, limited-edition manufacturer of custom firearms, proudly announces the release of the “250 Years of Freedom” 1911 Commander .45 ACP. This limited-edition firearm pays tribute to the nation’s enduring legacy of independence and liberty.

Crafted with precision, the custom 1911 Commander features a satin finish in sapphire PVD and intricate engravings that honor 250 years of freedom. The front strap is checkered at 20 lines-per-inch, combined with a Stan Chen rear mainspring housing and a magazine well checkered at 25 lines-per-inch. The Kirinite REACTIV grips continue the checkered design, giving buyers a custom 1911 sure to stay in their collection for a long time.

“As we celebrate this significant milestone, SK Guns is honored to present a firearm that embodies the spirit of American resilience and patriotism,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Guns. “This 1911 Commander is not just a collector’s item but a tribute to the values that have defined our nation for two and a half centuries.”

Limited to only 250 units, each pistol is individually numbered. The firearm is chambered in .45 ACP and built on the classic 1911 Commander platform, renowned for its reliability and performance.

Orders for the “250 Years of Freedom” 1911 Commander .45 ACP are now open for shipping in June 2026. For more information, visit SK Guns’ official website.
