Pulsar Unveils Trail 3 Family: Next-Generation Thermal Riflescopes with Integrated Laser Rangefinder

(MANSFIELD, TEXAS) – Pulsar, a leading innovator in thermal imaging technology, today announced the launch of the Trail 3 family of thermal riflescopes, building upon the proven success of its Trail series with enhanced optical performance and advanced features designed for serious hunters.

The Trail 3 family consists of two premium models—the LRF XQ50 and LRF XR50—engineered to deliver superior target detection and identification in the most demanding hunting conditions, including darkness, fog, rain, and dense vegetation.

Uncompromising Performance in All Conditions

The Trail 3 riflescopes excel where conventional optics fail. Designed for use both day and night, these thermal imaging devices cut through challenging environmental conditions including fog, smog, and rain, while detecting heat signatures through obstacles such as branches, tall grass, and dense cover that would obscure traditional optical views.

“The Trail 3 represents a significant advancement in thermal riflescope technology,” said [Spokesperson Name, Title]. “We’ve enhanced every aspect of the platform—from sensor resolution to detection range—to give hunters the confidence and capability they need in the field, regardless of conditions.”

Precision Rangefinding at Extended Distances

Each Trail 3 model features a built-in high-precision laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances to targets up to 1,312 yards (1,200 meters), enabling hunters to make accurate shots at extended ranges. This integrated rangefinding system eliminates the need for separate rangefinding devices and streamlines the shooting process.

Two Models to Match Your Hunting Style

Trail 3 LRF XQ50 (SKU 76585)

  • 384×288 px microbolometer with 17µm pixel pitch
  • F50/1.0 lens with 3.5-14x magnification
  • Detection range: 1,800 m / 1,969 yards (deer-sized target)
  • 7.5° / 13.1° angle of view at 100m
  • System NETD: <15 mK for exceptional image clarity

Trail 3 LRF XR50 (SKU 76588)

  • 640×480 px microbolometer with 12µm pixel pitch for superior resolution
  • F50/1.0 lens with 3-24x magnification
  • Extended detection range: 2,300 m / 2,516 yards (deer-sized target)
  • 8.8° / 15.4° angle of view at 100m
  • System NETD: <18 mK

Advanced Features for Modern Hunters

Both Trail 3 models share a robust feature set designed for reliability and ease of use:
