PROOF Research® Appoints William Misch as New International & Central U.S. Account Manager

Industry veteran brings more than two decades of sales leadership, global channel management, and optics expertise.

Columbia Falls, Mont. (October 2025) – PROOF Research®, the global leader in composite technology, has named William Misch as its new International & Central U.S. Account Manager. Misch will oversee key domestic territories and international accounts, leveraging his 20 years of experience in sporting goods sales, channel relations, product introductions, and territory expansion across major brands. He most recently served in optics sales at Leica Optics and previously held leadership roles with American Outdoor Brands, Crimson Trace, Smith & Wesson, and Equifax.

‘William’s track record of building strong distributor relationships and growing sales across domestic and international markets made him a standout candidate,” commented Brandon Hulzebosch, Director of Sales at PROOF Research. “His background with premium brands, from firearms and accessories to optics, aligns perfectly with PROOF’s commitment to innovation and performance. We’re excited to have him on board as we continue to expand our footprint in key markets.”

Before joining PROOF Research, Misch spent nearly two decades with American Outdoor Brands and its subsidiaries, serving as International Sales Manager and Territory Manager for brands including Crimson Trace, Smith & Wesson/M&P Accessories, Schrade, Imperial, Uncle Henry, and Bubba. He was Crimson Trace’s first Regional Sales Manager and played a key role in developing some of the company’s most profitable territories.

“I’m thrilled to join the PROOF Research team,” said Misch. “I’ve spent my career helping premium brands grow through strategic partnerships and customer-focused solutions. With PROOF’s reputation for craftsmanship and innovation, I’m excited to translate my experience into meaningful success for our dealers, distributors, and international partners.”
