HOUSTON, TX – August 25, 2025 — The Hunting Matters podcast is proud to welcome Brittany French, CEO of Pass It On! Outdoor Mentors, as its next featured guest. French leads the nonprofit’s mission to empower youth through mentorship in hunting, fishing, and outdoor traditions, ensuring that future generations have access to the outdoors.
Since beginning as a volunteer in 2015, French has dedicated her career to introducing young people to hunting, fishing, and shooting sports. Today, she oversees Pass It On! Outdoor Mentors’ operations in Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Oklahoma. In 2024, the organization hosted more than 800 free outdoor events, engaging over 2,000 youth with the help of dedicated mentors, program coordinators, and landowners. Looking ahead, the program plans to expand into new states and host more than 900 events in 2025.
On the podcast, French will share her personal journey from volunteer mentor to CEO, the importance of conserving hunters alongside habitats and wildlife, and the many ways individuals, outfitters, and landowners can get involved. From volunteering time to donating access and supporting fundraising events, Pass It On! Outdoor Mentors continues to grow thanks to the collective effort of the outdoor community.
