NOMAD Introduces the Ambush Shooting Shirt, Engineered for All-Day Wingshooting Performance

Charleston, SC (August 25, 2026) — NOMAD today announced the launch of the Ambush Shooting Shirt, a performance-driven evolution of its best-selling Ambush Shirt, purpose-built for wingshooters who demand comfort, mobility, and reliable performance in the field.

Made for the modern shooter, the Ambush Shooting Shirt is designed to move with the demands of an active hunt by combining a lightweight, breathable construction with technical features engineered for changing conditions. From warm mornings in the field to fast-paced shooting situations, the shirt is designed to help hunters stay comfortable and focused throughout the day.

“Wingshooting demands a shirt that can keep up with the pace of the hunt,” said Mike Tussey, Director of Marketing at NOMAD. “We took what shooters already loved about the Ambush Shirt and reengineered it specifically for the field, adding performance features that provide comfort, mobility, and protection when it matters most.”

Blending new-school performance with old-school style, the Ambush Shooting Shirt features UPF 30+ protection, laser-perforated back venting, and moisture-wicking performance to help regulate comfort when temperatures rise. Reinforced recoil patches provide added durability in high-use areas, while an interior eyewear wipe offers a convenient field-ready detail. Available in three patterns: Mossy Oak Bottomland, Mossy Oak Migrate, and solid NOMAD Mud, hunters can add a versatile shirt, suitable for every pursuit.

The result is a shooting shirt designed to perform whether the day brings heat, long walks between covers, or fast-moving birds. Lightweight and breathable, the Ambush Shooting Shirt is made to be the shirt shooters reach for no matter which way the day swings.
