Natlink Joins CIC to Shape the Future of Hunting

The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Natlink, Europe’s leading wildlife management innovation company, as its new platinum corporate sponsor. This partnership aims to revolutionize wildlife conservation and hunting practices by integrating data-driven technologies and science-based policy advocacy.

Natlink was established by uniting three of Europe’s most influential hunting brands – WeHunt, Tracker,  and Burrel – into a single powerhouse for innovation. With origins in the Swedish Hunting Association, WeHunt has become the standard tool for hunters in Scandinavia, rapidly expanding across Europe. It is now the fastest-growing hunting app in France, supported by the CIC.

A Partnership for the Future
This collaboration goes beyond sponsorship. CIC and Natlink will integrate advanced wildlife management tools into CIC’s existing projects while launching new initiatives showcasing Natlink’s cutting-edge solutions. Together, they aim to create a new standard for sustainable, data-driven harvest management in Europe.

“Science and data are the backbones of effective wildlife management policies,” said CIC Director General Sebastian Winkler, “Natlink’s innovative tools, like WeHunt, enhance safety, accuracy, and adaptability for hunters and conservationists alike, making them indispensable for the future of hunter led conservation.”

Innovating Wildlife Management Across Europe
Natlink has already proven its value as a disease monitoring tool during African Swine Fever outbreaks in Scandinavia. This partnership will promote its adoption across Europe, engaging national authorities, hunting associations, and governments to address urgent wildlife management challenges.

The CIC’s extensive network of state members, policymakers, landowners, and conservation experts will amplify the reach and impact of this collaboration, ensuring that science-based solutions inform policy and practice.

Empowering Hunters as Conservation Champions
Through multinational projects, the CIC connects local hunting associations, academic institutions, and international organizations to promote research and innovation. Hunters play a crucial role as grassroots contributors, delivering critical data for informed decision-making. With Natlink’s tools, this potential can be fully realized. Our shared vision is for the future of harvest data and habitat management to be ‘powered by Natlink’.

Natlink’s offerings, including WeHunt, are designed to meet the needs of local, regional, and international stakeholders. Their commitment to sustainable solutions aligns perfectly with the CIC’s mission to promote conservation through sustainable use.

About the CIC
Established in 1930, the CIC is a global organization, and recognised authority dedicated to promoting sustainable use as a tool for wildlife conservation. With a diverse membership spanning over 80 countries, the CIC collaborates with governments, NGOs, and local communities to advance science-based policy and conservation initiatives.

About Natlink
Natlink is Europe’s leading provider of wildlife management tools, offering cutting-edge solutions like WeHunt, Tracker, and Burrel. Focused on data-driven technologies, Natlink empowers hunters, authorities, and conservationists to address the challenges of modern wildlife management.
