MOTV Live – Watch “The MeatEater Team Shootout” on MyOutdoorTV

DENVER (August 3, 2026) – MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) invites viewers to “grab their shooting gloves and get their eyes and ears on” for an exclusive look at The MeatEater Team Shootout, Monday, August 3, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET. Until now, fans have only heard about this special event. The rare opportunity to share in the annual MeatEater gathering at a skeet range outside of headquarters in Bozeman, Montana, promises to give viewers a true insider’s perspective on the MeatEater team. During the two-hour livestreamed event, viewers will join the friendly competition between key members of the MeatEater crew while also gaining a first-hand understanding of what’s in the works at MeatEater as Steven Rinella visits with each talented member of the popular MeatEater family.

Shotgun in hand, Rinella sets up the shooting competition while bringing viewers up to speed on MeatEater’s amazing story, rooted in hunting and fishing, conservation and wild food. Throughout the shoot, he’ll be dropping in on the other storytellers who have helped shape the MeatEater brand. There’s Ryan “Cal” Callaghan setting his sights on fast-moving clay birds while talking conservation and detailing the exciting shows and stewardship projects he has planned for the months ahead. Then there’s MeatEater Director and Executive Producer Janis Putelis, hoping to lock on arcing clays as he explains his overarching role in shaping and strengthening MeatEater’s voice and vision. Then Clay Newcomb joins the fray, mule-kicking clays out of the sky and giving viewers a sneak peek at what’s ahead on the “Bear Grease” podcast and his other captivating programs.

As the competition unfolds, Rinella aims to spend time with each host, presenting a closer look at the shows they’re part of, the stories behind their work, and giving fans a behind-the-scenes perspective from the personalities that make the MeatEater crew so unique. Watch for MeatEater staffers Brent Reaves, Tony Peterson, Mark Kenyon, Randall Williams and Bear Newcomb. Additional appearances from Brody Henderson, Seth Morris and other crew members are sure to add to the fun and camaraderie of the event.

Part skeet shoot, part conversation, and part MeatEater reveal, MOTV Live’s “The MeatEater Team Shootout” gives fans an unscripted look at the competition and the chemistry that results in the very best outdoor content.
