MDT is adding two products to its lineup: a limited Rattlecan ODG (RCO) edition of the Oryx Bipod, and a Remington 700 long action CIP base, right hand, for the LSS GEN3 Chassis System.
Rattlecan ODG Oryx Bipod
The Oryx Bipod is now offered in a limited Rattlecan ODG (RCO) finish, available with a choice of Sling Stud or M-LOK attachment head. Each RCO bipod comes with matching forend M-LOK panels and rear side panels, so the finish carries across the build. This is a limited edition, available while supplies last.
Key Oryx Bipod features include:
- One-handed deployment, stowage, and cant adjustment
- 50 degrees of cant adjustment
- Height range of 7.2 to 10 inches at the pivot point
- Footprint width of 9 to 11.5 inches
- High-strength polymer legs with high-traction rubber feet
- Weight of 11 oz (M-LOK) or 12.5 oz (Sling Stud)
LSS GEN3 Remington 700 Long Action CIP Base, Right Hand
MDT is adding a Remington 700 long action base to the LSS GEN3 Chassis System in the CIP magazine length, right-hand configuration. CIP denotes the magazine length, which differs from the standard long action inlet, bringing the modular platform to more R700 long action builds. The LSS GEN3 lets shooters swap forends, buttstocks, and grips without removing the barreled action, so the rifle keeps its optic zero across configurations.
Key LSS GEN3 features include:
- 6061 aluminum construction with Cerakote finish
- V-block bedding for repeatable fit
- Drop-in installation with no bedding or gunsmithing
- AICS-pattern long action magazine compatibility
- Ambidextrous magazine latch
- AR-15 style grip compatibility
- Clearance for up to a 1.25 inch straight diameter barrel
The Rattlecan ODG Oryx Bipod and the LSS GEN3 Remington 700 long action CIP base, right hand, will be available starting August 25, 2026, through MDT dealers and at mdttac.com.
