On Saturday, April 13, the third annual Ickey Shuffle & Shoot Experience was hosted by PrairieFire Nevada. The event was dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the Jovante Woods Foundation for Asthma Awareness. The event was graced by NFL Legends and other professional athletes, including namesake Ickey Woods, Ron Brown, Dokie Williams, Joe Torry, Arabian Prince, Damon Allen, Lincoln Kennedy, Felix Giles, and many others.
The event included various engaging activities such as the adrenaline-pumping Gunslinger Challenges. Participants showcased their prowess on the Gunslinger Canyon, tested their accuracy with the Long-Range Challenge, and tried out the Gunslinger 5-stand. Rental equipment ensured an inclusive experience for all participants.
After the challenges, attendees enjoyed the Tailgate Mixer and Silent Auction, which featured tacos and by Lot J Taco and cocktails. Guests had the opportunity to bid on items at the silent auction, with proceeds supporting the Jovante Woods Foundation for Asthma Awareness.
The event brought together individuals from all walks of life for a day of excitement and support for a noble cause. It exemplified the spirit of giving and camaraderie, making everyone feel a part of something bigger. It was a testament to the power of community and its ability to make a positive impact.

Jovante Woods Foundation for Asthma Awareness
Ickey and Chandra Woods lost their young, 16-year-old son Jovante due to complications of an Asthma attack. Due to their devastating loss, and what they found to be limited resources, education, and action available to those with asthma and their loved ones. They were determined to make a difference and thus the Jovante Woods Foundation was born. The Jovante Woods Foundation’s goal is to try and prevent the tragic loss of a loved one due to an Asthma attack or the lack of education during an Asthma attack.
