ANOKA, Minnesota – August 24, 2026 – Federal Ammunition today announced it will be the official ammunition of the Minnesota Wild for the 2026-27 season. This agreement with the hometown NHL franchise is historic as it is the first partnership with a major league professional sports team in Federal’s 104-year history. Hockey fans in the Upper Midwest, whether on the radio, on social media, or streaming, will see and hear messaging from Federal on recreational hunting and shooting aligning with the Wild’s passionate fan base.
In addition to media placements, Federal will partner with the Minnesota Wild on a popular fan promotion, distributing co-branded blaze orange baseball caps at a designated home game, to be announced later. Featuring both the Wild and Federal logos, the caps can be worn during deer, pheasant and grouse hunts for seasons to come. In addition, Federal and the Wild will launch a sweepstakes offering fans the chance to win a hunt with a current Minnesota Wild player.
