A Pivotal Executive Role
Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President of Operations will lead all manufacturing, supply chain, MRP, quality, IT, facilities, logistics, and safety functions. This executive will be responsible for aligning day-to-day operations with Christensen Arms’ core strategic pillars: industry-leading accuracy, advanced product design, operational integrity, and world-class manufacturing performance.

Position Focus & Strategic Impact
The Vice President of Operations will translate the company’s strategic direction into operational excellence by:
- Driving world-class manufacturing performance across machining, carbon fiber, assembly, finishing, and testing.
- Ensuring industry-leading accuracy and quality through rigorous process control and a continuous improvement culture.
- Strengthening supply chain resilience, inventory accuracy, MRP discipline, and material availability.
- Leading Lean, 5S, automation, and efficiency initiatives to improve throughput, productivity, and cost.
- Supporting rapid innovation and new product development for faster time-to-market and scalable production.
- Building operational reliability that deepens trust with dealers, distributors, and the company’s growing DTC channel.
This leader will help enhance financial performance through disciplined cost control, optimized production planning, productivity improvements, and increased inventory turns. Long-term priorities include scaling operational capabilities, improving profitability, and supporting continued product innovation.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will bring:
- 10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership, ideally within firearms, defense, aerospace, or other high-precision industries.
- Strong expertise in machining, composites, supply chain, MRP, quality systems, Lean, continuous improvement, and team development.
- Experience driving operational transformation and scaling complex manufacturing organizations.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and success managing operational KPIs, budgets, and accountability.
- The ability to obtain and maintain firearms-related certifications and clearances.
