“American Wild” Fridays Brings New Adventures to Outdoor Channel

Tune in Friday Evenings Beginning at 7 p.m. ET

DENVER (June 2, 2025) – Starting at 7 p.m. ET every Friday, Outdoor Channel’s “American Wild” block delivers an exciting mix of adventure programming. From survival challenges in New Zealand to heartwarming restorations, this lineup offers something for every outdoor and adventure enthusiast looking to connect with nature and heritage.

Shows included in “American Wild” block include:

Dropped: Expedition South Pacific – 7 p.m.: In a land formed by volcanoes and earthquakes, Chris and Casey Keefer are pushed to the limit when they’re Dropped with little more than the clothes on their back into the rugged backcountry of New Zealand. Starting with no map, no food, no shelter and no supplies, the brothers must live off the land and work together to find the few vital caches of modern equipment that will aid their return to civilization. It’s a true test of the hunter’s skill to travel through these jagged mountains cut by raging whitewater to reach their extraction point on time. Dropped is a dangerous race of survival that takes the Keefer brothers from mountain men to modern outdoorsmen.

Nick’s Wild Ride with Nick Hoffman – 7:30 p.m.: Join Nick Hoffman as he travels the world on the hunt for interesting game, little-known history, fascinating people, heartwarming culture, food, and drink.

The Gunfather: Restorations – 8 p.m.: Meet Louie Tuminaro: a firearms restoration expert that truly believes every gun has a story to tell and a unique connection to the person who owns it. Each week his team will restore a firearm back to its original glory.  

Renovation Hunters – 8:30 p.m.: Home improvement meets the outdoor lifestyle. Hosted by Hal Shaffer, hunter & outdoorsman, this show is dedicated to preserving the family tradition of hunting and fishing camps throughout this great country.

Wardens – 9 p.m.: When your job is protecting our most precious natural resources in some of the nation’s most remote areas, there is rarely a dull moment. Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America.

Wardens: Case Files – 9:30 p.m.: Wardens: Case Files goes behind-the-scenes with real Game Wardens and Conservation Officers, telling true stories of their most dangerous, mysterious, and infamous cases. This is ‘true crime’ in the wild!
