ALPS Introduces the Sierra Crossover Vest

NEW HAVEN, Mo. – ALPS Brands, a leading manufacturer of outdoor recreational gear and soft goods, expands the company’s new Sierra apparel line by introducing the Sierra Vest.

The Sierra Vest is engineered to maintain a comfortable core body temperature in cool weather while allowing for a free, unrestricted range of arm movement.

Billed as a crossover garment, the Sierra Vest combines the ruggedness and performance of a dedicated outdoor vest with a stylish design perfectly suitable for everyday wear around town or in public venues. The vest’s two-layer construction consists of a durable and stretchable 95% polyester and 5% spandex blend outer layer that is DWR-treated for weather resistance.

Inside is an advanced microfleece fabric layer that provides a soft feel and insulating performance to keep you warm. It is also wind-resistant and breathable, thus helping you maintain a consistent and comfortable body temperature in changing climates.

Four YKK® zippered pockets—two chest pockets and two hand pockets—are built into the Sierra Vest. All are generously proportioned so you can keep your hands warm and have the necessary items at the ready.

The Sierra Vest secures with a full-length front zipper and is topped with a standing collar to keep your neck warm during blustery days. The drop-back hem and bungee-and-barrel lock adjustable closure system at the bottom of the vest allow you to custom-regulate ventilation.

Available in small through XXXL sizes and offered in three solid color options — coyote brown, olive green, and slate blue — the Sierra Vest is the perfect companion for the upcoming fall season.
