Aaron Davidson of Gunwerks Featured on HSCF’s Hunting Matters Podcast

HOUSTON, TX – February 9, 2026 — The Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is pleased to announce that Aaron Davidson—Wyoming-born engineer, inventor, hunter, pilot, and founder and CEO of Gunwerks—is featured as a guest on the Hunting Matters podcast.

Davidson is a recognized leader in precision shooting and modern hunting innovation. As the founder of Gunwerks, a 100% American-made precision rifle company, he holds more than 20 U.S. patents, including the pioneering ballistic turret and the world’s first ballistic rangefinder. Over nearly two decades, Davidson has helped redefine long-range shooting by integrating engineering rigor, field-tested design, and system-level thinking into hunting equipment.

In this in-depth episode of Hunting Matters, Davidson discusses what drives his passion for innovation and how his engineering background shapes Gunwerks’ approach to firearm, optics, and ballistic system design. He explains his philosophy that “precision starts at the system level,” and how that principle translates into real-world performance and usability for hunters in the field.

The conversation also explores Gunwerks’ latest product launches, including the Endex Rifle System and the Revic BR10 Ballistic Rangefinding Binocular. Davidson shares insights into the development journey behind these products, the challenges and breakthroughs encountered along the way, and how they reflect Gunwerks’ broader vision for the future of precision shooting and hunting technology.

Additional topics include the evolution of ballistic technology, the role of digital tools such as Gunwerks’ ballistic app, and the balance between innovation and tradition in hunting. Davidson also addresses lessons learned from harsh field conditions, Gunwerks’ commitment to vertical integration and American manufacturing, and his perspective on hunting culture, policy, and conservation in a changing regulatory landscape.
