The details surrounding this incident are uncertain. Some say it was gang related, while others say it wasn’t. Regardless, for our purposes, let’s take a look at this video to think about what could have been done to better this guy’s chances of survival.
The main reason that this man is still alive is because the driver of the taxi eventually started to drive away. Talk about the longest few seconds in someone’s life.
Having watched the video, I was cringing at the screen watching the driver, who was just simply unsure of what was going on and what move to make.
He may have had a vehicle in front of him that didn’t allow him to move forward, but if there was a clear understanding of what was going on, he may have acted differently.
This incident occurred in London, where law-abiding citizens aren’t able to carry firearms for self-defense. They just want you to be stabbed in a cab instead.
