2 Teens Charged In Connection With Super Bowl Parade Shooting, More Charges On The Way

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI — On Thursday, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves reported that a shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Victory Parade and Rally led to 22 people being injured and one woman’s death. This incident, which occurred at Union Station during the parade, began with a dispute among several individuals.

As Kansas City officials and police delve into the investigation, two teenagers have been arrested and charged as juveniles in connection with the shooting, as announced by the Jackson County Family Court division on Friday. These teens are currently held at the Juvenile Detention Center, facing charges related to firearms and resisting arrest.

Additional charges are expected to be filed at a later date. Due to their juvenile status, further details about the suspects are not disclosed.
