MDT Releases Lightweight Titanium Hunting Brake

Chilliwack, BC – MDT Sporting Goods is proud to announce the release of the MDT Titanium Hunting Brake, engineered to deliver maximum recoil reduction in the lightest possible package. Designed specifically for lightweight hunting rifles and NRL Hunter competitors, this brake helps shooters stay on target and spot their own impacts, without adding unnecessary weight.

Machined from Ti-6Al-4V titanium, the MDT Titanium Hunting Brake weighs an ultra-light 1.7 ounces, making it one of the lightest brakes in its class. Its four-port design with angled ports effectively mitigates recoil and muzzle rise, while the self-timing lock nut ensures a secure, tool-free installation. A leveling flat on the underside of the brake allows precise timing and alignment for a clean, professional fit.

The MDT Titanium Hunting Brake is available in two models:

  • Standard Titanium Hunting Brake – optimized for .30 caliber and under rifles up to .300 PRC with 5/8-24 threads.
  • Magnum Titanium Hunting Brake – designed for .300 PRC and larger .30 caliber or .338 caliber rifles, also featuring 5/8-24 threads.

Each brake measures 2.48 inches in length and 0.98 inches in diameter, with a sleek raw-blasted finish that complements the aesthetics of any precision hunting rifle.

Whether for backcountry hunts or demanding field competitions, the MDT Titanium Hunting Brake delivers exceptional recoil management in a minimalist form factor, empowering shooters to stay accurate, light, and fast.
