Earlier this year, Viridian Weapon Technologies introduced its rechargeable C Series line of rail-mount lights (below). Among the lights in the series is the CTL, which delivers 525 lumens, INSTANT-ON operation, ambidextrous activation, and more. And now, the company has partnered with Springfield Armory and Taurus on co-branded versions of the CTL for matching aesthetics and better fitment.

Viridian Adds Co-Branded Springfield Hellcat Pro and Taurus CTL to C Series of Rail-Mount Lights

Constructed of 6061 aluminum with hardcoat anodization, the Custom CTL for the Hellcat Pro and Taurus maintains the attributes of the original CTL. However, the rail attachment has been slightly altered to provide a better fitment with the pistol models. Likewise, the sides of the housing feature the Hellcat Pro or Taurus logo for a more cohesive aesthetic with your pistol.

Providing a 525-lumen peak output, the CTL delivers 60 minutes of runtime per charge. Correspondingly, the portable SAFECharge system allows you to charge the unit anywhere, anytime, for up to five full charges. However, the magnetic connection of the charger ensures that you can get your pistol fast when needed.

In addition, the INSTANT-ON technology works with compatible holsters, allowing you to set the light to turn on as you draw your pistol. As a result, your light is on when it is go time without the need to manually activate it. But if you choose not to utilize this feature, ambidextrous activation buttons provide fast actuation.

“The new Custom CTL for Taurus is another in a long line of innovative and exciting accessories we have brought to market in collaboration with Taurus,” said Viridian VP of Sales, Andy Scott. “Viridian and Taurus USA have had a wonderful working relationship for many years and it continues in a strong and meaningful way with the new Custom CTL.”

On May 12, 2023, Personal Defense World reported:

Viridian is reintroducing its original C Series with design enhancements that take it to the next level. Featuring bright green laser technology and/or high-lumen tactical light technology, the redesigned series is now rechargeable. Available in four different models, the series offers the right option for everyone, whether law enforcement, military, or civilian.

The Viridian Rechargeable C Series

Featuring a 6061 aluminum construction with hardcoat anodization, the C Series is ready for hard use in hard environments. Likewise, the IPX4 water-resistant housing ensures that your light/laser can withstand the elements for reliable performance when it counts. Additionally, with an operating temperature range of 14°F – 140°F, the C Series can handle any climate.

Each model in the series is powered by a rechargeable battery and is charged via Viridian’s new quick-release SAFECharge system. The included rechargeable power bank utilizes a magnetic charging connector to charge the C Series. As a result, if you are charging your light/laser in a safe and need your pistol quickly, it will immediately disconnect without fumbling with cables.

However, for those that prefer complete control, manual ambidextrous buttons provide activation at your fingertips.
