Timney Triggers just announced the release of its latest component trigger upgrade, one designed to go racing with Glock handguns. The Timney Alpha Competition Ultimate Builder’s Kit (UBK) for Glock pistols blends fine-tuned parts matching the geometry of the company’s Alpha Competition Glock triggers, putting it all into one kit for shooters.

The UBK comes with a striker, striker spring, connector, safety plunger, and safety plunger spring for the Gen 3-4 series. Meanwhile, Gen 5 UBK’s come with a striker, striker spring, and connector. The stainless steel striker matches the geometry of the Alpha Competition sear, while the tool steel safety plunger matches the geometry of the Alpha Competition trigger bar. All UBK parts feature heat treatment and NP3 coatings for durability and increased lubricity.

With a factory set pull weight set to 2.5-3 pounds, the UBK delivers a trigger system that feels like a Timney without taking away from the dependability of the Glock system, according to Timney. It employs an improved trigger design for an upgraded system, offering lighter pull weight and a smoother feel.
