1. Featuring a dual-Allen-key design for easy disassembly, NDZ Performance’s Captured Guide Rod Assembly is machined from stainless steel. Seven times heavier than OEM offerings, it adds mass below the barrel—where it is needed most—for a reduction in muzzle flip. A choice of three spring weights offers an added element of versatility by allowing one to configure the pistol to suit their needs. Other eye-catching finishes are available, too. Multiple choices of finish are available to add aesthetically pleasing looks to your Echelon. MSRP: $21.95 to $28.99; ndzperformance.com

2. Measuring slightly longer than stock offerings, the Apex Tactical Single Side Magazine Release provides users a shorter reach to eject a magazine from their pistol. Despite its single-side design, the release is reversible for left- or right-handed shooters. Its tri-faceted face is checkered to offer ample purchase and a non-slip grip. Compatible with small-, medium- and large-frame grip modules, this small-but-versatile product is built from steel and sports an Armorlube finish for added durability. MSRP: $65; apextactical.com

3. Constructed  from high-quality aluminum, the Springer Precision Shorty Compensator boasts a one-piece design that extends 1.35 inches from the end of the slide and is compatible with threaded-barrel models of the Echelon. When a round is fired, the compensator’s three ports vent gases to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, enhancing overall control of the firearm and fostering faster follow-up shots. For optimal performance, pairing it with a 14-pound recoil spring is recommended. MSRP: $85; shop.springerprecision.com

4. A drop-in replacement for the factory polymer trigger, the Powder River Precision Trigger Kit for the Echelon features a hybrid trigger shoe, which has a flat-face trigger with a small, curved surface at the tip of the unit. The trigger and trigger safety are precision CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and anodized. A striker spring, striker safety spring, sear spring, safety sear spring and trigger spring are included. When installed, all of these parts combine to provide a smoother-feeling trigger pull with 46-percent less travel, minimal reset and a crisp, 3.5-pound pull weight. MSRP: $129.95; powderriverprecision.com
