Mission First Tactical EXD Metal Sights

Mission First Tactical recently announced the debut of new backup iron sights for carbine users. The EXD Metal Sights include a front and rear backup unit that folds out of the way when not in use. The system provides a backup system for duty, home defense or sport.

“Even the toughest optics can break, batteries go dead or even fail,” said David Edelman, Vice President, Mission First Tactical. “MFT’s EXD back up sights are simplified for reliability giving you the added safety and reliability you need when it counts.”

Mission First Tactical builds the EXD Metal Sights from steel for a rugged, minimalistic profile. They tuck under illuminated aiming devices while maintaining a strong, secure backup solution should optics fail. The front sight post adjusts for elevation and comes threaded for AK-pattern posts. They system removes friction points by eliminating detents and springs. The reduction in hardware increases the robust nature whil minimizing complexity and failure points, according to Mission First Tactical.
