GPO just announced two new handheld optics to add utility and performance for duty, sport or field. The GPO 10X Monoculars come in two variants: GPO M100 Passion 10×32 ED and GPOTAC 10×42 ED.

GPO 10X Monoculars

“Monoculars generally don’t get the respect they deserve when it comes to their lightweight, quick-handling, and ease-of-use features; most are too small and of poor quality,” said Mike Jensen, GPO, USA’s owner and CEO. “But, when a quality full-sized monocular becomes available, more people will discover its benefits. The GPO M100 Passion 10×32 comes ready for everyday use, whether hiking, hunting, or watching sports. It measures just 2.5x2x5.1 inches and weighs 11.3 ounces, making it more compact that many binoculars. The 36mm ED objective lens gathers plenty of light. Meanwhile, a 14.5mm eye relief and 325-foot field of view delivers a large picture to view. A spindle focus allows fine-tuning the picture.

The GPOTAC 10×42 ED tactical monocular comprises a more specialized device designed for tactical or field situations. It delivers quick, accurate range measurement for calculations. It incorporates an off-center MIL reticle. The unit measures a mere 2.2×2.2×6.3 inches and weighs just 13.4 ounces. It sports a 42mm objective lens, 14mm eye relief and 304-foot field of view. A twist eyepiece focus brings targets clearly into view.

Both units feature robust armor housing, GPOBright high-transmission lens coatings, single-wheel focus and a magnesium housing. The M100 Passion retails for $289. The GPOTAC 10×42 ED retails at $349.
