Desert Tactical LLC and SC Products Group LLC have partnered together to formulate, manufacture, market and distribute a new non-toxic gun cleaner, SC-14 Gun Cleaner.

This cleaner is intended to safely remove carbon, lead and copper fouling from all firearm surfaces, whether internal or external. SC-14 Gun Cleaner is engineered to be safe on any firearm surface including metals, plastics, decals and even specialty or untreated metals like chrome and exposed aluminum as well as nitride-coatings and painted surfaces.

SC-14 Gun Cleaner safely removes carbon, lead, and copper fouling. The proprietary formula uniquely targets oil, grease, soot, and other types of hydrocarbons. SC-14 Gun Cleaner is a de-emulsifier that is engineered to attach to hydrocarbons and lift them from the surface, resulting in safe and effective cleaning of firearms both inside and out, and does not contain any harsh or caustic chemicals. Its main driving ingredient, a food grade additive, creates a non-toxic, biodegradable cleaner that is safer than the other chemicals found in other gun cleaners.

Jim Evans is the man who designed SC-14 Gun Cleaner and is also the current CEO of SC Products Group LLC. His passions and motives for coming up with his non-toxic gun cleaning formula stem from the desire to curtail cancer causing agents in products found across many industries. Evans’ background is in developing industrial and fire service PPE (personal protective equipment).

“Our partner, SC Products Group, has decades of experience developing category-leading cleaning products that are safe for the user, the environment, and the surfaces that they clean,” said Melissa Stone, President of Desert Tactical LLC. “Now we’re proud to introduce the all-new SC-14 Gun Cleaner that provides exceptional cleaning performance while also being safe for you and the environment. SC-14 Gun Cleaner is safe for you, the environment, and the things you love.”
