First Look: MFT Magazine Coupler

Mission First Tactical (MFT) offers firearm parts, accessories, holsters and gear and has just launched the new MFT Mag Coupler. MFT designed this magazine coupler to keep two AR-15/M4-pattern, detachabl-rifle magazines together to bring more convenience to owners of those rifles.

“Our new MFT Mag Coupler allows users to attach two magazines together for more efficient and quicker reloads,” said David Edelman, vice president of Mission First Tactical. “Conveniently it also keeps additional ammunition accessible on the weapon at all times and in any situation.”

The MFT Extreme Duty Magazine Coupler expands on-board ammunition capacity and makes reloading more efficient by securely joining two magazines together for the AR-15/M4. Made of high-impact, superior-grade, lightweight polymer, the coupler will not scratch or deform magazines. An easy to assemble two-bolt design keeps your mags in place even through the toughest conditions. The MFT Mag Coupler easily fits all STANAG aluminum and steel magazines, all MFT magazines as well as 30- and 40-round AR-15/M4 Gen2 MOE and AR-15/M4 Gen3 magazines

The concept of coupling magazines together is not new, as the logistics of carrying on-board ammunition directly with a firearm have always been a challenge. While duct tape or rubber bands have been depicted as ways to hold magazines together in various outlets, designing and bringing to market a real-world solution is another–especially one that’s designed to be compatible with the most popular AR-15-pattern magazines on the market today.

The Mission First Tactical MFT Mag Coupler retails for $19.99 and is available on MFT’s website. To learn more about this tactical accessory and other products sold by Mission First Tactical, visit missionfirsttactical.com.
