First Look: B5 M-Lok Foregrip

B5 Systems, a company known for its polymer tactical-carbine stocks and grips has just announced the release of a new M-Lok compatible vertical fore-grip. The B5 Vertical Foregrip is designed with a slight angle and can be mounted either forwards or backwards, depending on user preferences. It is compatible with any M-Lok surface, which is one of today’s most popular mounting surfaces on modern carbine and rifle handguards. The B5 Vertical Foregrip is built from a durable composite polymer material and has texturing on all four sides. B5 Systems offers this foregrip in a wide array of various colors including black, flat dark earth, coyote brown, wolf grey, olive drab green, Multicam, Multicam Black, and US M81 Woodland.

Some shooters find that vertical foregrips are useful to help control their carbines under rapid fire conditions. While the traditional method of holding a vertical foregrip was to squeeze around its body with a crush grip, today’s techniques have evolved into the end user treating the foregrip more like to a hand stop that is found on the bottom of their rifle. This explains the shorter length found in the B5 Systems Vertical Grip along with its gentle sloping grip angle. In addition to angles, B5 also engineered their foregrip to provide superior comfort and control, with an ergonomic shape which fits naturally in the hand.

B5 Systems Vertical Foregrip Specifications:

  • Weight: 1.1 ounces
  • Length: 2.16 inches
  • Width: 1.04 inches
  • Height: 2.80 inches
