First Look: 1791 Gunleather Cobra Belt

1791 Outdoor Lifestyle Group offers a variety of holsters and other leather-based goods for EDC (everyday carry) and outdoor-sports lifestyles, and has just unveiled its latest gun belt, the new 1791 Cobra Gun Belt. This leather belt uses the proven AustriAlpin COBRA buckles favored by parachutists and other people who partake in extreme outdoors sports. The new 1791 Cobra Gun Belt is made from robust and durable full thickness 14-ounce steerhide leather tanned in 1791’s classic brown or stealth-black finished.

In spite of their extreme strength and resilience, AustriAlpina COBRA buckles are extremely easy to undo by simply toggling on the two pivoting releases that retain the male end of the buckle in place. With this in mind, 1791 OLG also designed the rest of this gun belt for comfort, convenience and concealment. Unlike the majority of everyday carry belts, the COBRA buckles on this belt measure the same width as the rest of the belt: 1.5 inches. This allows the closed belt to easily slide in between the belt loops of most pants without snagging, which also allows the wearer to adjust their belt and holster or other accessories in relation to the belt buckle without becoming a big hassle. Besides its high-strength, high-tech buckle, the 1791 Cobra belt also includes an easy set-and-forget adjustment option using two different “Chicago” screws. Wearers need to only simply buy a belt that fits the general size of their waist and then adjust the screws for a more personal and precise fit. Once that is done, the belt doesn’t need to be tinkered with again.

Retail pricing for the new leather 1791 Cobra Gun Belts starts at $99. To learn more about this new carry belt or other leather goods and accessories offered by 1791 Outdoor Lifestyle Group, please visit 1791gunleather.com.
